Eunice Bowman: Burn Recovery Update: December 2009
Eunice is back to swimming at the gym!
She
& her little Shih-Tzu "Betsey" have also just participated in a fun & appreciated "Therapy Dog"
Christmas Program at the Washington State Soldiers Home in Orting, WA.
JULY 2009
She is
recovering well from her extensive burns! and...she says she is happy her hair is finally growing back:-) Eunice
is back exercising at the YMCA and will soon be able to get back to her swimming classes at the Y.
Eunice says:
Thank you! to all her friends and the many other folks that have been continuing to support her in so many ways since that
horrific fire destroyed her home and took the life of her precious "DOC" in the early hours of December 30, 2008.
UPDATE on Eunice's "new" home:
YAY!!! Eunice is now living in her new digs and if you
missed her "Welcome Back" party, it is not to late to give her a call, card, or come on by to say hello.
UPDATE on Eunice's recent (doggy) activities:
Eunice has been attending dog training classes on Tuesday nights
and was also in attendance at two recent Canine Musical Freestyle workshops at Dawn's school.
She
has been busy helping train Dawn's most recent "rescue project", a little female Shih-Tzu named "Betsy".
UPDATE on BETSY: She is happily sharing most of her time with Eunice now and stays with Dawn, Lucky & their
dogs, occassionally.
